Irrespective of the precise application scenario, our fluid bed dryer is ingeniously devised to handle products as they hover upon a cushion of air or gas. The process air is introduced into the system via a specially fabricated perforated distributor plate and courses through the bed of solids at a velocity adequate to uphold the weight of particles in a fluidized state. Bubbles are generated and then dissipate within the fluid bed dryer of material, instigating vigorous particle movement. In such a state, the solids exhibit behavior analogous to that of a freely flowing boiling liquid.

Exceptionally high heat and mass transfer values are achieved due to the intimate interaction with the solids and the differential velocities between individual particles and the fluidizing gas.
